When Cristiano de Brito, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rafael Toscano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rafael Toscano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Belmiro Lopes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Rafael Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano de Brito in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, FC PILÂO's Téo Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perivaldo Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner Cerezo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, FC PILÂO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Téo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Velloso having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, FC PILÂO's Bernardinho Gaúcho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Perivaldo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Téo Araújo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Perivaldo Velloso. Téo Araújo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. FC PILÂO's Téo Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Belmiro Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Toscano having to interfere. Belmiro Lopes took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Toscano. Rafael Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luís Eduardo Fontes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cristiano de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Toscano having to interfere. Téo Araújo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Perivaldo Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC PILÂO. Bernardinho Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Perivaldo Velloso made a huge save. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clandestino FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belmiro Lopes's late challenge caught a FC PILÂO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. Téo Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Clandestino FC's zone, Téo Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Velloso came out of the goal and Téo Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC PILÂO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC PILÂO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
