The crowd rose to their feet as Breno Simões kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos das Neves. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Walter´S FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Luisão Marinho succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Célio do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Edmundo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos das Neves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Viramao's Dino Vale got a free kick in the 36th minute. The Viramao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos das Neves should have stopped the shot. Gilvan Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Gomes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Simões in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos das Neves saved Viramao from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breno Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio da Fonseca in the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Horácio da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walter´S FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio da Fonseca in the 55th minute of play forced Viramao's goalkeeper Carlos das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Walter´S FC's goalkeeper Edmundo Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Célio do Vale. Breno Simões scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Walter´S FC booed when Viramao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Walter´S FC fully deserved thier win.
