In the 25th minute Fausto Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience held their breath when Cleiton Nogueira in the 27th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gualter de Moraes's left hand side. Christovinho's Gualter de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Esteves in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Lira in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lúcio Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Christovinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. When Pedrinho Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dona Denise's protests and gave Pedrinho Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrinho Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Christovinho got a freekick which was hit by Abel Donato. In the 48th minute, Samuca Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Dona Denise were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Lira made the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Miranda hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Fausto Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kléberson Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gualter de Moraes made a huge save. With a little luck, Christovinho's Gualter de Moraes got control of the ball when Fausto Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cléberson Monteiro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dona Denise's Pedrinho Bueno shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gualter de Moraes but with some difficulty. Cristóvão Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Fausto Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Lira in the 70th minute of play forced Christovinho's goalkeeper Gualter de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enéas Berger scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dona Denise played a much better game than Christovinho and deserved their victory. The Christovinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
