After 4 minutes, Guilherme Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FeijoFlu and the Aldeia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FeijoFlu! Sebastião de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Régis Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Sebastião de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Régis Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Aldeia FC's Arthur Figueiredo got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Ortiz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Goiano in the 20th minute of play forced FeijoFlu's goalkeeper Christiano Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Sena having to interfere. Luisinho do Valle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FeijoFlu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Fred Salgado scored to the left of an out of position Christiano Sena, making the score, 2-0. In the 35th match minute, FeijoFlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Porto to maneuver through the defense. FeijoFlu's Christiano Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FeijoFlu from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FeijoFlu's goalkeeper Christiano Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christiano Sena came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Aldeia FC's Luisinho do Valle. But to his dismay, Luisinho do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fred Salgado made the kick off in the second half. Christiano Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Luisinho do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Sena having to interfere. Christiano Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Salgado's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Christiano Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Sena having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Walmir Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisinho do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Fred Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldeia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldeia FC's Luisinho do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FeijoFlu booed when Aldeia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sebastião de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FeijoFlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião de Amorim couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Aldeia FC's zone, Sebastião de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Castro came out of the goal and Sebastião de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho do Valle went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the FeijoFlu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aldeia FC.
