Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celso Koehler started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival Borges during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Percival Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Reducao AD booed when Real Safira C.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Edvaldo Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Evandro de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reducao AD and the Real Safira C.F players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Reducao AD's Evandro de Medeiros got a free kick in the 10th minute. Yan Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Reducao AD got a freekick which was hit by Caco Pirani. When Real Safira C.F's Celso Koehler in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reducao AD's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Hermes in the 23rd minute of play. Edvaldo Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes of play, Reducao AD's Orlando Hermes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Real Safira C.F's Anderson Salgado got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Reducao AD's Edvaldo Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Reducao AD from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Afonso Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Reducao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Torres came free, but Edvaldo Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Hermes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Ernesto Leão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 66 minutes in the game, Afonso Capixaba fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ernesto Leão having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Real Safira C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Capixaba came free, but Ernesto Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Safira C.F's Celso Koehler got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience cheered when Gerson Brasil's long shot passed Ernesto Leão's right side. It was 1-2, 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Yan Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Safira C.F's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
