Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) César Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Nascimento came out and tried to block the shot, but César Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Claudinei Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toriba's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Neiva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Toriba's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Toriba's César Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Nascimento came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Toriba's Fausto Valadares. But to his dismay, Fausto Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. César Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, E. C. Fernandes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after César Queiroz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Denílson Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Reginaldo Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Fausto Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell César Queiroz to make the kick off. César Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Nicolas Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Queiroz in the 55th minute of play. Denílson Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Maciel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Queiroz in the 65th minute of play forced E. C. Fernandes's goalkeeper Nicolas Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nicolas Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toriba. Fausto Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Nascimento having to interfere. Fausto Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Fausto Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E. C. Fernandes's Nicolas Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Toriba getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Edu Pernambucano hit a great ball. Fernandes's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Valadares came free, but Nicolas Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Toriba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
