The supporters of Toriba booed when Ŧ€ŘŇΞŁŁ€ ₣.Ć was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Fausto Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Fausto Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Sampaio having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Fausto Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toriba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. Chiquinho Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toriba. Reginaldo Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Negri in the 58th minute of the match. Fausto Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquinho Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Toriba were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
