Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Rezende kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Samuca Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Matorin in the 8th minute of the match. Marcus Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Jeferson Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gilberto Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIKINGS's protests and gave Gilberto Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Matorin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Cara EC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Bezerra. A hard shot 24 in the game by Samuca Cunha from a close distance when the talented Arthur Vidal managed to make a qualified save. VIKINGS's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in VIKINGS's zone, Mateus de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Vidal came out of the goal and Mateus de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to VIKINGS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gilberto Matorin hit a great ball. In the last second Arthur Vidal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Samuca Cunha in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Aloísio Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloísio Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cara EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aloísio Camargo hit a great ball. Jeferson Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Marcus Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VIKINGS. When Cara EC's Samuca Cunha in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VIKINGS's goalie prevented a goal. If Mateus de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Mateus de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Vidal. VIKINGS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateus de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuca Cunha to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Rezende got free with Marcus Pena in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 minutes of play VIKINGS's Gilberto Matorin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience was convinced that Samuca Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Vidal was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Arthur Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Cunha in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Cara EC's Cacá Bezerra made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arthur Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus de Lima in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VIKINGS's zone, Samuca Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Vidal came out of the goal and Samuca Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Samuca Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cara EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Paulo José Donatello fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIKINGS's protests and gave Paulo José Donatello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Paulo José Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Samuca Cunha put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arthur Vidal. 92 minutes into the match, Mateus de Lima notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of VIKINGS's Arthur Vidal. Arthur Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 95 minutes, Mateus de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cara EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cara EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
