Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oséias Senna kicked off to start the match. GaloGordo FC's Dalmo Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Sena in the 7th minute of the match. When Dalmo Simões came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the GaloGordo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Simões couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Senna in the 11th minute of play forced GaloGordo FC's goalkeeper Eurico Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When GaloGordo FC's Pedro Luís Sena in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Osvaldo Souza guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Pedro Luís Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Souza having to interfere. If Dalmo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmo Simões in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Osvaldo Souza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldo Souza was a little too slow when Pedro Luís Sena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Pedro Luís Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Vila Nova F.C defense, Dalmo Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Souza. The Vila Nova F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Souza should have stopped the shot. If Dalmo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eurico Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luís Sena made a kick off. Eurico Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Osvaldo Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmo Simões went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldo Souza came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by GaloGordo FC's Pedro Luís Sena. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Osvaldo Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Sena's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Dalmo Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Souza having to interfere. After 87 played minutes, GaloGordo FC's Valdo Souza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GaloGordo FC reached it. When Oséias Senna came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Vila Nova F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Senna couldn't finish the play. Dalmo Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that GaloGordo FC were the better team. GaloGordo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
