Serginho Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique de Amaral having to interfere. Víktor Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cléber Mesquita hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Fumaquim FC's Carlinhos Siqueira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for VIKINGS. 30 minutes into the match, Fumaquim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Maranhense came free, but Henrique de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Serginho Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Henrique de Amaral. Fumaquim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 40 played minutes VIKINGS got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Mesquita. Serginho Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrique de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serginho Meirelles ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Maranhense was the one to do the kick off. Nico Cosme hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Fumaquim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Maranhense came free, but Henrique de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, VIKINGS's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Lira came free, but Arthur Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique de Amaral was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aníbal Dionísio. After some careless play in the VIKINGS defense, Víktor Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Vidal. The VIKINGS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Vidal should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fumaquim FC's goalkeeper Henrique de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
