With an all-out effort, AEC Juta Três's Ari Fingkreuw threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Carlos Valadares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Galáctico FC's Ari Fingkreuw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Galáctico FC from getting a goal against them. Galáctico FC's Ari Fingkreuw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Valadares in the 25th minute of play. João Carlos Valadares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ari Fingkreuw came out and tried to block the shot, but João Carlos Valadares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 38th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Luisinho Marinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvério Mendes skillfully saved the ball. The referee ignored Galáctico FC's protests and gave Sílvio Luís Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. Galáctico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdir Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvério Mendes having to make a save. Galáctico FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
