Spectators: 7168 (Terracing: 5378, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrianinho Garcia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Queimadinhas's Enrique Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Garcia in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Fumaquim FC's Henrique de Amaral got control of the ball when Gerson Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 played minutes Fumaquim FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Barbosa. The supporters of Queimadinhas booed when Fumaquim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Queimadinhas's Vitinho Favoretto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fumaquim FC. 20 minutes into the game, Mazinho de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fumaquim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queimadinhas the free kick. After 20 played minutes Fumaquim FC got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho de Carvalho. After 33 minutes, Víktor Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fumaquim FC and the Queimadinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fumaquim FC's Víktor Lira got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Enrique Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vânderson Macedo made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gerson Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queimadinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adrianinho Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Víktor Lira got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 63 played minutes Fumaquim FC got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Lira. In the 65thth minute of the game Gerson Prado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fumaquim FC's Henrique de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Queimadinhas's Enrique Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Garcia in the 67th minute of play. Vânderson Macedo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrique de Amaral. Henrique de Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. André Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 93rd minute, Gerson Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
