After 21 played minutes Galáctico FC got a freekick which was hit by Flávio de Azevedo. 22 minutes into the match, Galáctico FC's goalkeeper Ari Fingkreuw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé Zilles. In the 32nd minute Valdir Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleandro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Descalvados getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sérgio Lucas hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Descalvados's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio de Azevedo came free, but Aleandro Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Galáctico FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
