The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Sampaio couldn't finish the play. The AEC Juta Três fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when AEC Juta Três's Juninho Sampaio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvério Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Prado in the 15th minute of the match. Enrique Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Valadares in the 17th minute of play. Juninho Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pontes having to interfere. Enrique Pontes came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by AEC Juta Três's Juninho Sampaio. But to his dismay, Juninho Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Tepedino in the 24th minute of play forced AEC Juta Três's goalkeeper Silvério Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gerson Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Queimadinhas booed when AEC Juta Três was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Vitinho Favoretto from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Silvério Mendes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. AEC Juta Três's Silvério Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Macedo in the 61st minute of play. If Juninho Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, João Carlos Valadares made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Pontes. Queimadinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. AEC Juta Três were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Queimadinhas for a fine match.
