Spectators: 6632 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dino Sarmento got the match started through his kick off. Edmundo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin da Cunha having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Buique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luís Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Veloso in the 11th minute of play forced Tom Original FC's goalkeeper Franklin da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renan Veloso's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Buique's Valdo Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Borges in the 14th minute of play. Aníbal Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Franklin da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buique. In the 23rd match minute, Tom Original FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Paulista to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tom Original FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Geraldo Pinho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tom Original FC's zone, Dito Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin da Cunha came out of the goal and Dito Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renan Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buique's Edmundo Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renan Veloso in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin da Cunha saved Tom Original FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Buique's Edmundo Araújo got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dino Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tom Original FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juarês Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdo Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Juarês Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tom Original FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renan Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cristian Dias fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tom Original FC's protests and gave Cristian Dias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Cristian Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Valdo Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tom Original FC. 59 minutes into the match, Renan Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franklin da Cunha. Tom Original FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renan Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 65th minute, one of Tom Original FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tom Original FC. Pedro Paulo Lucas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 69th minute, Renan Veloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buique fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 77 minutes into the game, Dino Sarmento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdo Miranda. Dino Sarmento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Renan Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Aníbal Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Valdo Miranda made a huge save. Valdo Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Original FC's Franklin da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Veloso in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Aníbal Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Renan Veloso notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tom Original FC's Franklin da Cunha. Franklin da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Buique walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
