An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Juarês Borges got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dino Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tom Original FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes Aracatiara got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Borges. Ulysses Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Sarmento in the 28th minute of the match. Dênis Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin da Cunha having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Tom Original FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Queiroz came free, but Franklin da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Dênis Fernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tom Original FC's Franklin da Cunha. Franklin da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franklin da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Original FC's Franklin da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Tom Original FC from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Dênis Fernandez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Franklin da Cunha, passed just outside the right post. If Dino Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tom Original FC's Dino Sarmento in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aracatiara's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aracatiara eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
