Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredinho Pitta took the kick off in the first half of the match. Perivaldo Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rosalandia's Dadá Bittencourt got control of the ball when Gilmar Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 played minutes Rosalandia got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Andrade. Perivaldo Aparecido came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosalandia's Kiko Andrade. But to his dismay, Kiko Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Perivaldo Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Cruz in the 18th minute of play. Alfredinho Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Bittencourt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Goiano in the 22nd minute of play forced Rosalandia's goalkeeper Dadá Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Rosalandia got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo de Almeida. In the 29th match minute, Rosalandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Sílvio Luís Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dadá Bittencourt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Sílvio Luís Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the BIRMINGHAM defense, Kiko Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Aparecido. The BIRMINGHAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Aparecido should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, BIRMINGHAM's Afonso Bezerra got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, Rosalandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Torres to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, BIRMINGHAM's Dadá Bittencourt threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilmar Goiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 44th minute, BIRMINGHAM's Alfredinho Pitta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The BIRMINGHAM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rosalandia were winning 1-2.

Gilmar Goiano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dadá Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Sílvio Luís Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Bittencourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Rosalandia's Dadá Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Pitta in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, BIRMINGHAM's Perivaldo Aparecido got control of the ball when Eduardo Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rony Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dadá Bittencourt having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Rosalandia's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Pitta came free, but Dadá Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Nogueira took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Bittencourt. Dadá Bittencourt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Perivaldo Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Kiko Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Dadá Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogo Vieira during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rosalandia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Diogo Vieira hit a great ball. Dadá Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Kiko Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alfredinho Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the BIRMINGHAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Pitta couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Rosalandia's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Pitta came free, but Dadá Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BIRMINGHAM had won after a very even match.
