Carlos Fernando Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Borges in the 26th minute. If Gino Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Eduardo Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franklin da Cunha. Tom Original FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 35th minute Gino Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinho Domingues got free with Carlos Fernando Sousa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the game, Herois da Apae FC's Gino Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin da Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dino Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carlos Fernando Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dino Sarmento made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gino Lopez put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Franklin da Cunha. Gino Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Franklin da Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
