Hélio Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Munhoz made a kick off. Edmundo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Passos having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Renan Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Araújo in the 61st minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Alenquer SS's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Azevedo came free, but Hélio Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Zonta scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélio Passos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renan Veloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio Passos having to make a save. If Renan Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Alenquer SS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marco Zanette hit a great ball. Renan Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Munhoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdo Miranda. That made the score 2-1 in the 90 minute of play. After some careless play in the Alenquer SS defense, Renan Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Passos. The Alenquer SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Passos should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Buique were the better team. Buique's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
