Dênis de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Madej having to interfere. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Pulse F.C.. César Andrade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucjan Madej. 1-0. If Dênis de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Pereira came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucjan Madej could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Diguinho Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Lucas was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Diguinho Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilson Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilson Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, one of Cocelinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cocelinho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diguinho Lima in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafu Lucas saved Pulse F.C. from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Dé Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diguinho Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Pulse F.C.'s Cafu Lucas got control of the ball when Dé Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pulse F.C.'s Davi Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cafu Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Diguinho Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Geovanni Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocelinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pulse F.C.'s Teodoro Freitas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Zé Paulo Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Paulo Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pulse F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Zé Paulo Furtado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Lima in the 88th minute of play forced Pulse F.C.'s goalkeeper Cafu Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Lucas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dé Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 92 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cocelinho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pulse F.C..
