Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diguinho Lima started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cocelinho booed when Caldeiroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Paulista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucjan Madej. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Diguinho Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Caldeiroes's João Pedro de Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucjan Madej. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro de Azevedo in the 16th minute of play forced Cocelinho's goalkeeper Lucjan Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Caldeiroes's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Rosa came free, but Mário Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caldeiroes's attentive Cláudio de Godoi managed to snatch the ball when Téo Travassos made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Cocelinho's Lucjan Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Azevedo in the 25th minute of play. Lucjan Madej made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Orlando Paulista sent off a good shot on target. If Clemente Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game João Pedro de Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cocelinho's Lucjan Madej was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Paulista could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Lucjan Madej however easily saved by the left post. Paulo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Augusto Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lucjan Madej tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cocelinho's Lucjan Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Azevedo in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Augusto Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldeiroes's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Madej breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute João Pedro de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Cocelinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Rezende to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro de Azevedo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, João Pedro de Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Lucjan Madej. Cocelinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Dé Sabóia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Rosa got free with Mário Mello in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cocelinho's zone, João Pedro de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Madej came out of the goal and João Pedro de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cocelinho's Lucjan Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Azevedo in the 67th minute of play. Lucjan Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, João Pedro de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Cláudio de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caldeiroes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocelinho the free kick. After a rather tough play, Caldeiroes's Cláudio de Godoi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Caldeiroes's goalkeeper Mário Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Rosa. Lucjan Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Madej having to make a save. In the 88th minute João Pedro de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cocelinho defense, Augusto Baiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Madej. The Cocelinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Madej should have stopped the shot.
