Lucjan Madej was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot by Téo Travassos from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Juarês Falcão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 26th match minute, Cocelinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Diguinho Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juarês Falcão came out and tried to block the shot, but Diguinho Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocoes's goalkeeper Juarês Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Norberto Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocoes and the Cocelinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Norberto Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Alagoano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucjan Madej. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Norberto Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Madej breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kléber de Senna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Lucjan Madej when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Cocelinho's Lucjan Madej got control of the ball when Gustavo Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Rosa in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Medeiros's late challenge caught a Cocelinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 83 played minutes, Cocelinho's Eusébio Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juarês Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cocelinho reached it. Lucjan Madej made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Norberto Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. The Cocelinho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pocoes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
