Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Waldir Castro got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Pinho in the 5th minute of play forced Cadeado's goalkeeper Diamantino Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafa Baiano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cadeado's zone, José Augusto Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Rosa came out of the goal and José Augusto Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro de Moraes hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Cadeado's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Pinho came free, but Diamantino Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cadeado's zone, José Augusto Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Rosa came out of the goal and José Augusto Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Cadeado got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Melo. After 25 played minutes Cadeado got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Valle. 26 minutes into the match, Quatinga FC's Váldson Mazza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 30 minutes into the game, José Augusto Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Diamantino Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diamantino Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Castro in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Hílton Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadeado and the Quatinga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quatinga FC booed when Cadeado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Castro in the 40th minute of the match. Nelson Aguiar in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafa Baiano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cleiton Berger struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rafa Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadeado. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Cadeado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Camargo to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Luís Guilherme Barreto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafa Baiano skillfully saved the ball. Diamantino Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Aguiar in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Baiano saved Quatinga FC from getting behind. Rafa Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Berger in the 64th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Cleiton Berger made a precise shot to the right of Rafa Baiano. Quatinga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rafa Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Aguiar in the 68th minute of the match. Nelson Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Quatinga FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Thomás Meira hit a great ball. If Nelson Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cadeado's Diamantino Rosa got control of the ball when José Augusto Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egídio Valle was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th minute, Egídio Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, José Augusto Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
