In the 6th minute, Vítor Fontes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafa Baiano, passed just outside the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Thomás Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quatinga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER DE MILÃO F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quatinga FC's Thomás Meira got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Waldir Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Adalberto Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafa Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Tinoco in the 26th minute of play. José Augusto Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Víktor Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Baiano having to interfere. Vágner Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rafa Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vítor Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rafa Baiano made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, INTER DE MILÃO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Castro came free, but Víktor Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Víktor Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Castro's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Vítor Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Augusto Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Novaes having to interfere. Waldir Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Novaes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Víktor Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Vítor Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rafa Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
