Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Patrick Fonseca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Chapadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Alves to maneuver through the defense. Luisão Leão's late challenge caught a Presidente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisão Leão helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chapadinho's Luisão Leão got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Germano Corrêa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nildo Romero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Tadeu das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nildo Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Chapadinho's Nildo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Fonseca in the 17th minute of play. Ruy Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tadeu das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chapadinho's Nildo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Fonseca in the 30th minute of play. Tadeu das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nildo Romero having to make a save. Patrick Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Romero having to interfere. Tadeu das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nildo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Nildo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Fonseca in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Presidente FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruy Tepedino made a kick off. If Patrick Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Romero was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Patrick Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrick Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tadeu das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Presidente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, one of Chapadinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chapadinho. Tadeu das Neves scored 0-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nildo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Alves in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Presidente FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chapadinho throughout the match.
