A collision led to Presidente FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Adriano de Amaral hit a great ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Josué Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Condus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes, Frédson Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Condus and the Presidente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Presidente FC booed when Condus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 12th minute of the match Frédson Capixaba completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Frédson Capixaba a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Frédson Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Tadeu das Nevess short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Olívio Ramalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Condus's Olívio Ramalho got control of the ball when Patrick Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Berger during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Condus getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adalberto Berger hit a great ball. The supporters of Condus booed when Presidente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Condus got a freekick which was hit by Dário Guedes. In the 35th minute, Patrick Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Presidente FC's Olívio Ramalho threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrick Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Condus's Olívio Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Condus from getting a goal against them. Léo Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel de Carvalho in the 46th minute of the match. Tadeu das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Ramalho having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Fonseca made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Condus's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu das Neves came free, but Olívio Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Fonseca took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Ramalho. Olívio Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Daniel de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Léo Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Condus. After a rather tough play, Presidente FC's Cristóvão de Queirós got a free kick in the 78th minute. Olívio Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Carlinhos Cordeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Léo Travassos. Presidente FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Presidente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Condus's Olívio Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu das Neves in the 92nd minute of play. If Patrick Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Presidente FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Condus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
