Oswaldo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Sá having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Negov Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Sydney Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JheNano FC and the Negov Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Andrézinho Motta took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Leopoldo Sá to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Negov Sport Club booed when JheNano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. JheNano FC's Leopoldo Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Motta in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Ramón Mesquita made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Negov Sport Club's Oswaldo Paraibano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramón Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Paraibano having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play, JheNano FC's Ramón Mesquita made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Paraibano having to interfere. Cipriano Neto took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Sá. Leopoldo Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Natanael Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Paraibano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Furtado in the 84th minute of play forced Negov Sport Club's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JheNano FC's Cristian Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramón Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Paraibano having to interfere. If Cipriano Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JheNano FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
