Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hudson Lopes started the match with the kick off. When Jânio Machado came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Viela Paulista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Machado couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Eliseu Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucas Bezerra, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonas Paiva was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Juninho Vasconcelos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Juvefogo's Jorge Garcia. Jorge Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Viela Paulista FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eliseu Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonas Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Viela Paulista FC booed when Juvefogo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Juvefogo's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Machado came free, but Jorge Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Juvefogo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eliseu Braga hit a great ball. Jorge Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Machado in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some careless play in the Juvefogo defense, Jânio Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Garcia. The Juvefogo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Garcia should have stopped the shot. When Eliseu Braga fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juvefogo's protests and gave Eliseu Braga a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseu Braga hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Angelo Prata, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Juvefogo's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Lopes came free, but Jorge Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 69th minute of the match Eliseu Braga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eliseu Braga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Viela Paulista FC booed when Juvefogo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Hudson Lopes in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Fiori Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juvefogo's protests and gave Fiori Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Jorge Garcia, was totally fooled by Viela Paulista FC's Angelo Prata, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jonas Paiva came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Juvefogo's Lucas Bezerra. But to his dismay, Lucas Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Montenegro in the 97th minute of play forced Viela Paulista FC's goalkeeper Jonas Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viela Paulista FC played a much better game than Juvefogo and deserved their victory. The Juvefogo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
