Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciro Prestes kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Espinosense F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Prestes came free, but Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinosense F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Ciro Prestes scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano, making the score, 1-0. After 17 played minutes Mangunca got a freekick which was hit by Renan Lara. Mangunca's Arthur Pimenta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristóvão Cardoso, made in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Ciro Prestes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano. Ciro Prestes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With his leg Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Mangunca's Bruninho Vasconcelos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano was a little too slow when Ciro Prestes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Espinosense F.C's Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Prestes in the 29th minute of play. Ciro Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Ciro Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Lara made a kick off. Robinho Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espinosense F.C's Tiago Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mangunca were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Espinosense F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arthur Pimenta took the corner. The corner ended in Arthur Pimenta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espinosense F.C's Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano did a great save. In the 64th minute, Filipe Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espinosense F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ciro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Espinosense F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Rossi. After a defensive mix-up in Espinosense F.C's zone, Ciro Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano came out of the goal and Ciro Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Espinosense F.C's Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Prestes in the 77th minute of play. Enio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Lara in the 81st minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano having to interfere. In the 86th minute Ciro Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mangunca booed when Espinosense F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
