The supporters of Juvefogo booed when Espinosense F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espinosense F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Juvefogo's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Linhares came free, but Jorge Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Espinosense F.C! In the 44th minute, Eliseu Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano having to interfere.

The wind increased when Jonas Montenegro made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Montenegro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 57 in the game by Robinho Linhares from a close distance when the talented Jorge Garcia managed to make a qualified save. Juvefogo's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Montenegro in the 60th minute of play forced Espinosense F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Jonas Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Fiori Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juvefogo and the Espinosense F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Juvefogo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Espinosense F.C:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jorge Garcia, was totally fooled by Espinosense F.C's Valdo Guedes, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jonas Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juvefogo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Luiz Eduardo Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juvefogo. With a little luck, Juvefogo's Jorge Garcia got control of the ball when Robinho Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juvefogo fully deserved thier win.
