Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Vítor Garcia made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, João Vítor Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitorinos's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Marco Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Prestes in the 14th minute of play. Bruninho Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rocha having to interfere. Ciro Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ciro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes Mangunca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Túlio Terra who took care of the corner kick. Bruninho Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Vitorinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruninho Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Vitorinos's Túlio Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Prestes in the 37th minute of the match. Bruninho Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Enio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Rafinha Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Túlio Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitorinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rocha having to interfere. João Vítor Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enio Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Samuca Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, Mangunca's Ciro Prestes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Ciro Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raphael Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marco Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Mangunca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes of play, Mangunca's Bruninho Vasconcelos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Rocha having to make a save. If Ciro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Mangunca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
