Lucas Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wesley Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juvefogo's protests and gave Wesley Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Juvefogo's Wesley Paraibano got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Rui de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cícero Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Garcia having to interfere. Délio de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Atlético Reds Clube's Cícero Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jorge Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Cícero Pontes lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jorge Garcia. Jorge Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jonas Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juvefogo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Bezerra to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Jonas Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Cerezo. Atlético Reds Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cícero Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Garcia having to interfere. Rui de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jorge Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Reds Clube. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Reds Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juvefogo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
