Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) PORTO's Elano Neves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Elano Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PORTO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elano Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elano Neves in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Elano Neves made a precise shot to the right of Samuca Nóbrega. Toca I Saii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Generoso Diegotxe put in a rough tackle. After 18 played minutes PORTO got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Diegotxe. Adhemar Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adhemar Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adhemar Veiga hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, PORTO's goalkeeper Emílio Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé Leal. After having played for 25 minutes, Mugurel Stancu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PORTO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugurel Stancu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mugurel Stancu might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuca Nóbrega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mugurel Stancu ran back to his position shaking his head. Enéas Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Toca I Saii got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Velloso. In the 32nd minute, Mugurel Stancu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PORTO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Cunha in the 35th minute of play forced PORTO's goalkeeper Emílio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, PORTO's Augusto Sá got a free kick in the 36th minute. Augusto Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emílio Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 37th minute. Enéas Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Samuca Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Stancu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Nóbrega having to interfere. Augusto Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Samuca Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toca I Saii's goalkeeper Samuca Nóbrega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Toca I Saii players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PORTO were winning 1-3.

In the 53rd match minute, PORTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Sá to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Toca I Saii's Guilherme Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emílio Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Mugurel Stancu came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuca Nóbrega could save by the left post. After 62 minutes of play, Toca I Saii's Augusto Cunha made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 minutes, Mugurel Stancu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PORTO and the Toca I Saii players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PORTO getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mugurel Stancu hit a great ball. If Enéas Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Adalberto Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toca I Saii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PORTO the free kick. Mugurel Stancu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Samuca Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Mugurel Stancu could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Samuca Nóbrega however easily saved by the left post. Enéas Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuca Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Enéas Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Nóbrega having to interfere. PORTO's Mugurel Stancu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enéas Madureira struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Samuca Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PORTO. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Madureira in the 90th minute of play forced Toca I Saii's goalkeeper Samuca Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PORTO were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
