If Gino Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco Bueno came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emílio Macedo could save by the left post. In the 31st minute Gino Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Cardozo having to interfere. Emílio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Silva in the 35th minute of play. Emílio Macedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hélio Pimenta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gino Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Macedo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. River Piauiense's Emílio Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Bueno in the 87th minute of play. Basílio Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Target Bet FC had played much better football throughout.
