An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Rodrigues in the 14th minute of play forced PITBULLOCO - ZL's goalkeeper Pedrinho da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Magno Maranhense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrinho da Silveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When João Augusto Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the PITBULLOCO - ZL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Rosado couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Noel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Magno Maranhense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedrinho da Silveira. PITBULLOCO - ZL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 28 played minutes PITBULLOCO - ZL got a freekick which was hit by Percy Secco. Leonardo Silveira's late challenge caught a PITBULLOCO - ZL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Leonardo Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho da Silveira. PITBULLOCO - ZL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldinho Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Franquinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Romero came free, but Sebastião de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Osvaldinho Zanette made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho da Silveira. PITBULLOCO - ZL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Augusto Rosado made a kick off. Bernardo Dias hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Franquinho FC's Sebastião de Lima got control of the ball when Cafu Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cafu Diniz in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastião de Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leonardo Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. PITBULLOCO - ZL's Pedrinho da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Rodrigues in the 63rd minute of play. Pedrinho da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Zanette in the 64th minute of the match. During the 79th minute of the match Leonardo Silveira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leonardo Silveira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of PITBULLOCO - ZL booed when Franquinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Cafu Diniz in the 81stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sebastião de Lima had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Pedrinho da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Franquinho FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
