In the 5th minute, Noel Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All Garrafa's Erik Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Rodrigues in the 9th minute of play. Noel Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Franquinho FC's Bernardo Dias got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldinho Zanette got free with Erik Fontes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Noel Rodrigues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Fontes. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Willian Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willian Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Willian Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Franquinho FC's Willian Sá got a free kick in the 36th minute. Moisés Simões made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Willian Sá. Allan Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sebastião de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noel Rodrigues to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Franquinho FC's zone, Fernandinho Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião de Lima came out of the goal and Fernandinho Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandinho Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião de Lima having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Franquinho FC's zone, Fernandinho Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião de Lima came out of the goal and Fernandinho Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, All Garrafa's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Rodrigues came free, but Erik Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All Garrafa's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Franquinho FC had won, even though All Garrafa had held more of the ball.
