When Benjamim Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anicuns SC's protests and gave Benjamim Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, one of Anicuns SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anicuns SC. The supporters of Totottenham FC booed when Anicuns SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juninho Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Eguzki's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Jacobo Eguzki, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Juninho Alves was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Betão Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totottenham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Jacobo Eguzki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Alves. Anicuns SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Eguzki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Anicuns SC defense, Manfredo Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Alves. The Anicuns SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Alves should have stopped the shot. Sérgio Melo's late challenge caught a Totottenham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Melo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Totottenham FC booed when Anicuns SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Duarte in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Alves saved Anicuns SC from getting behind. Manfredo Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jacobo Eguzki put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Juninho Alves. A collision led to Totottenham FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hu Song hit a great ball. Manfredo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Totottenham FC's Amauri de Medeiros got control of the ball when Sérgio Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Totottenham FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedito Paulista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the game, Pedro Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Totottenham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anicuns SC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Manfredo Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juninho Alves made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Manfredo Duarte sent off a good shot on target. Benedito Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Totottenham FC's Maurício Tavares was substituted for Valdemar Garcia. Manfredo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Juninho Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Totottenham FC. Manfredo Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Duarte in the 89th minute of play forced Anicuns SC's goalkeeper Juninho Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betão Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Juninho Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Totottenham FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anicuns SC throughout the match.
