But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Sanches couldn't finish the play. Bruninho Alves made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jaime Moura sent off a good shot on target. Caveira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Pedro Tande scored to the left of an out of position Bruninho Alves, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Gualter Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruninho Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jaime Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Alves having to interfere. Gualter Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualter Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Caveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Prado to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Caveira FC got a freekick which was hit by César Corrêa. Caveira FC's Bruninho Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Caveira FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Caveira FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Guilherme Vinhas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikuri F.C's Pedro Tande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruninho Alves. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Jaime Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Bruninho Alves made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Caveira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Tande came free, but Bruninho Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Sérgio França in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Caveira FC's Ronaldinho Fernandez. After having played for 44 minutes, Guilherme Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caveira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Tande to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruninho Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Moura in the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Mikuri F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Pires. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Nóbrega in the 62nd minute of play forced Caveira FC's goalkeeper Bruninho Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Caveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Nóbrega in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruninho Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Marco Nóbrega made a precise shot to the right of Bruninho Alves. Caveira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Caveira FC's Bruninho Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Tande in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caveira FC defense, Raimundo Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruninho Alves. The Caveira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruninho Alves should have stopped the shot. Bruninho Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Caveira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Nóbrega came free, but Bruninho Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caveira FC's Agnaldo Dionísio got a free kick in the 87th minute.
