Gonçalo Rezende started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the SE Jundiaí defense, Gino Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Tróia. The SE Jundiaí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Tróia should have stopped the shot. Alfredinho Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Raí de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Freires short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got João Pedro Tróia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodrigo Pontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Pedro Tróia came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Pontes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Gino Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MarcoBH's zone, Gonçalo Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Penha came out of the goal and Gonçalo Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 played minutes MarcoBH got a freekick which was hit by Gino Sarmento. Alfredinho Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With his leg João Pedro Tróia managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when MarcoBH's Váldson Freire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredinho Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alfredinho Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fábio de Queiroz went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

SE Jundiaí's João Pedro Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Pontes in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Salgado during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, MarcoBH's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Rezende came free, but Alfredinho Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, MarcoBH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Veloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Basílio Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, SE Jundiaí's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Freire came free, but João Pedro Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Amaral hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Rodrigo Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Jundiaí's João Pedro Tróia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Rezende was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. SE Jundiaí's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 78 played minutes SE Jundiaí got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio de Queiroz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fábio de Queiroz during the 79th minute. João Pedro Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, SE Jundiaí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Jundiaí's goalkeeper João Pedro Tróia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gonçalo Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SE Jundiaí's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MarcoBH had won, even though SE Jundiaí had held more of the ball.
