Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guilherme Vinhas started the match with the kick off. Bruninho Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Cabral in the 5th minute of play. Guveia's Wágner Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Vinhas in the 8th minute of play. Bruninho Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Medeiros in the 14th minute. Bruninho Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Caveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Guilherme Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruninho Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruninho Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Guilherme Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guveia's Wágner Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caveira FC's Jorginho Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Guilherme Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Vinhas in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wágner Teles saved Guveia from getting behind. When Sebastião Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Guveia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Medeiros couldn't finish the play. When Caveira FC's Guilherme Vinhas in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guveia's goalie prevented a goal.

The wind increased when Murilo Cabral made the kick off in the second half. Wágner Teles was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Guilherme Vinhas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guilherme Vinhas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jorginho Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Murilo Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Caveira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Medeiros came free, but Bruninho Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Guveia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Vinhas kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 68thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Guveia's keeper Wágner Teles was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Caveira FC's Bruninho Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Cabral in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Caveira FC's zone, Murilo Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Alves came out of the goal and Murilo Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseu Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Vinhas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Wágner Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Medeiros in the 77th minute of play forced Caveira FC's goalkeeper Bruninho Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Guveia's João Carlos Aguiar in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caveira FC's goalie prevented a goal. Murilo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorginho Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wágner Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Wágner Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Vinhas in the 88th minute of the match. Bruninho Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Cabral in the 89th minute of play. Bruninho Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murilo Cabral went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Guveia's Wágner Teles got control of the ball when Guilherme Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorginho Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Teles having to interfere. Caveira FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
