In the 23rd minute Emerson Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Mota in the 30th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stuttgart SP the free kick. After 37 played minutes Mosby FC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Pires. After a defensive mix-up in Mosby FC's zone, Luís Eduardo Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Leme came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Mosby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Bezerra came free, but Leopoldo Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stuttgart SP getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adelino Nunes hit a great ball.

After some careless play in the Stuttgart SP defense, Diguinho Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Augusto Mineiro. The Stuttgart SP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Augusto Mineiro should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diguinho Nogueira in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Augusto Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Mota in the 58th minute of the match. Emerson Mota was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Stuttgart SP's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luís Eduardo Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Ciro Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Diguinho Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Diguinho Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Mineiro having to interfere. If Luís Eduardo Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Nogueira in the 92nd minute of the match. The Stuttgart SP players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mosby FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
