The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredinho Leão got free with Juninho Alves in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th match minute, da Loop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Leão to maneuver through the defense. When Benedito Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Anicuns SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Paulista couldn't finish the play. If Benedito Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Sérgio Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Anicuns SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Aguiar came free, but Juninho Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Leão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Juninho Alves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yan de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Breno Prestes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yan de Godoi. da Loop's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. da Loop's Yan de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Melo in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anicuns SC's zone, Natanael do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Alves came out of the goal and Natanael do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Cafu Aguiar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Juninho Alves, passed just outside the right post. The da Loop players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anicuns SC were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Anicuns SC's Gonçalo Maia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Cafu Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Juninho Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Maia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Benedito Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Yan de Godoi managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Anicuns SC's Sérgio Melo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Márcio de Salles hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Juninho Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of da Loop booed when Anicuns SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Aguiar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Alves. Juninho Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Galvão in the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Leão in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juninho Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Benedito Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Yan de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Renan Oliveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Anicuns SC's Juninho Alves didn't even have to move.
