After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Adriano Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. GHELMAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caco Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Proença in the 26th minute of play. If Lauro Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mosby FC's Ciro Proença in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GHELMAN FC's goalie prevented a goal. Caco Nunes made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Diguinho Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Diguinho Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Caco Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GHELMAN FC's Caco Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save GHELMAN FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Capixaba to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Nogueira in the 52nd minute of play forced GHELMAN FC's goalkeeper Caco Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Proença in the 54th minute of play. Adriano Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Leme having to interfere. Leopoldo Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Dé Reis's late challenge caught a Mosby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70thth minute of the game Diguinho Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GHELMAN FC's Caco Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Adriano Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the GHELMAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Capixaba couldn't finish the play. In the last second Leopoldo Leme throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adriano Capixaba in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Adriano Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leopoldo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
