Marco Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Mikuri F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marco Nóbrega. Jaime Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. Diguinho Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Sena having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Mikuri F.C got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Galvão. 11 minutes in the game, Ciro Proença dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. César Sena came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Mosby FC's Ciro Proença. But to his dismay, Ciro Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Caco Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mikuri F.C the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Mosby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. When Pedro Tande came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mikuri F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Tande couldn't finish the play. Caco Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jaime Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Caco Corrêa off the ground. The supporters of Mikuri F.C booed when Mosby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Moura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Leme. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 44th minute Pedro Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosby FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Tande to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Tande in the 53rd minute of play forced Mosby FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leopoldo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Moura in the 60th minute of the match. Marco Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leopoldo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sérgio França fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mikuri F.C's protests and gave Sérgio França a yellow card for diving instead. Sérgio França kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Mosby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Romero to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jaime Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Leme was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 75 minutes, Dagoberto Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosby FC and the Mikuri F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Jaime Moura fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mikuri F.C's protests and gave Jaime Moura a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mikuri F.C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jaime Moura hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Simões during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mosby FC booed when Mikuri F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Pedro Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mikuri F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Mikuri F.C's Jaime Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Tande in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Leme saved Mosby FC from getting behind. Leopoldo Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho Nogueira in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
