Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. César de Senna started the match with the kick off. Gabriel de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Márcio Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the match Fellipe Faria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Donato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Artur Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Donato having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Meninos de CG's goal looked a bit too open when César de Senna came free, but Patrick Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Campidelis came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Márcio Arantes could save by the left post. After 32 played minutes Vikings FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Araújo. Marcinho Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel de Barros to make the kick off. Marcinho Campidelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márcio Arantes having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Vikings FC's Fellipe Faria got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Artur Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vikings FC's Márcio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel de Barros in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel de Barros in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. César de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Patrick Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikings FC's goalkeeper Márcio Arantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gabriel de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel de Barros's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Meninos de CG defense, César de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Donato. The Meninos de CG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Donato should have stopped the shot. Márcio Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vikings FC's Márcio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Campidelis in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by César de Senna in the 86th minute of play forced Meninos de CG's goalkeeper Patrick Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcinho Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Márcio Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meninos de CG. In the 94th minute Aírton Borges suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Gabriel de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninos de CG's protests and gave Gabriel de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Meninos de CG's Gabriel de Barros got a free kick in the 95th minute.
