In the 16th minute, Edgard Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Galo Cego FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Edgard Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peaky Blinders FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Sena's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Eurico Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni Melo having to make a save. Eurico Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Melo having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Eurico Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Esteves was the one to do the kick off. When Edgard Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Peaky Blinders FC fans jumped to their feet. Galo Cego FC's Eurico Sena came free and shot a quick shot against goal 65 minutes in the game, fortunately Giovanni Melo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Amauri Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Giovanni Melo managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Galo Cego FC's Eurico Sena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Amauri Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
