Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Furtado kicked off to start the match. Crisopolis's Luisinho Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Furtado in the 7th minute of play. Celso Cerezos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got José Carlos Porto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute, Narciso Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Celso Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Celso Cerezo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Carlos Porto, 1-0. José Maria de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. José Maria de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José Carlos Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Cerezo to make the kick off. Celso Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Crisopolis booed when péép was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, péép was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Celso Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crisopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carlos Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Carlos Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Cerezo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Crisopolis's José Maria de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Carlos Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Quirino in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crisopolis's goalkeeper Luisinho Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luisinho Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Botelho in the 68th minute. José Carlos Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Cerezo in the 69th minute of play. If Celso Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Crisopolis's Juarês Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clóvis Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. José Carlos Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Crisopolis's Enéas Alcântara made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Carlos Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Crisopolis fully deserved thier win.
