The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Silveira during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Celso Cerezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Crisopolis booed when péép was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clóvis Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Celso Cerezo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Carlos Porto was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Crisopolis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
