The supporters of Urbro booed when péép was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glauco Soeiro took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Carlos Porto. José Carlos Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Urbro's Bruno Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Carlos Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bruno Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Carlos Porto was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Christian Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 45th minute, Germano Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of José Carlos Porto. péép's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

After some careless play in the péép defense, Glauco Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Porto. The péép fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Porto should have stopped the shot. José Carlos Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Neiva in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Ramiro Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Neiva in the 63rd minute of play forced péép's goalkeeper José Carlos Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Neiva in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, péép's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Soeiro came free, but José Carlos Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Botelho hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Glauco Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Glauco Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Carlos Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Urbro's Bebeto Queirós got control of the ball when Christian Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bebeto Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of péép booed when Urbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hugo Furtado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 91 minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Urbro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
