Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Crisopolis's Celso Cerezo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ramiro Maciel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Crisopolis's Luisinho Pitta. Luisinho Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute Glauco Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Quirino in the 10th minute of play. Orlando Carvalho lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Urbro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Urbro:s Bebeto Queirós showed great skill when he stopped Celso Cerezo:s penalty. Alexandre Brasil's late challenge caught a Crisopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, one of Urbro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Urbro. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Crisopolis. Celso Cerezo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bebeto Queirós. 1-1. Luisinho Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Cerezo in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bebeto Queirós, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisinho Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Crisopolis's Zézinho Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elder Félix lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Urbro. Paulo Paraense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luisinho Pitta. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Juarês Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crisopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Urbro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
